You Are A Visionary

Art is about seeing,

I can see through the space around me, and

I have an objective perception,

I may subsidize

With my own color,

I may mark what is happening

In mid space

Between me

And the objective subject

We are visionaries,

There is no one experience

Yet all experience is one,

If we remain open

We may channel God

Through our creations,

Our sight becomes heavenly

Our perspective gifted

As a community, we share this

I await a vision

Of Truth, I seek it,

I yearn to express

What resonates

As freedom and liberation,

An urge to lift

The veil of shame

That usurps our planet

And species

If I can provide

A raw and original

Perspective,

One that may bring joy

Or even jealousy to the jaded

As we are an imperfect people

That all experience shame,

Then maybe truth

Can be unveiled in the interpretation

Expression is holy,

Mistakes are eternal opportunities,

Presents waiting to be opened,

It is okay to try and see

Your own art,

It is not an easy task

To look from the inside

Of a creation,

And feel the love and joy

That the channeling brings

We are all artists,

We all seek and deserve expression.

It is simply play,

Let it bring your feet to the earth,

Let it bring cleansing rain to your

Shame and suffering,

Then maybe sharing it

Will lift the burdens of others,

And contribute to a collective peace
